Heidi Rice

Heidi Rice lives in London with her husband and two teenage sons (giving her an exhaustive and frequently exhausting insight into the male psyche).

Before publishing her first Mills and Boon novel, Bedded by a Bad Boy, in 2007, she worked as a freelance film journalist. As this often involved being paid to ogle gorgeous guys, she feels it stood her in good stead to create them for a living. Her second book for M&B Modern Heat, The Mile High Club, was shortlisted for a RITA award in 2008 and her sixth book Public Affair, Secretly Expecting made her a USA Today Bestseller last year. Her ninth book for Mills & Boon and her first Riva, Cupcakes and Killer Heels, was out in the UK in May and she’s looking forward to publishing many more in this exciting new line.

She loves writing sassy, spirited heroines who are, of course, just like her (give or take a few years – and a few pounds on the thighs) and the tall, dark and dangerously sexy heroes who can’t resist them.

She adored mentoring two talented authors in last year’s New Voices contest and can’t wait to get stuck in again.
