About Merri McDonagh

I picked up my first romance at the age of thirteen, while on holiday visiting my granny in Ireland, and have been hooked ever since. I love to write and read about all the wonderful characters that can be found between the pages of romance novels. See Merri’s full profile

  • I just wanted to say a really BIG ‘Thank you!’ to all the lovely people who took the time to leave comments and vote on my chapters. The support has been wonderful, encouraging and very helpful. I’ve loved reading every single one.

I’m moving house on Nov 3rd and have been insanely busy juggling packing and writing, but despite the craziness, I’ve enjoyed every single minute of the competition. Working with Michelle Willingham was WONDERFUL! I’ve learned so much already, but I’ve especially leaned that the people who make up this industry, editors, authors, wanna-be authors and readers have the most generous sharing spirit.

And that most certainly includes all of you. So thank you again. You’ve helped to make this experience memorable for me.

Congratulations to the top four. I can’t wait to read your pivotal moments! Good luck everyone :)

  • I loved this Merri! Jennifer's right, the historicals (and paranormals) have totally rocked this year and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that yours and another historical make it through to the next round! Sue
