When the good-looking new vet rescues her dog from a busy roundabout Jen is delighted and not just because George is brought home safely. Her last date, with her next-door neighbour Lucas, was a disaster; what she needs is someone to rescue her.

Without doubt the best opening paragraph I've read in any of the entries. Made me laugh out loud and pulled me in. Love the heroine and your writing style was lovely.
