Read Chapter One of "Against The Odds"
With the toss of a coin Rosa wins back Caracara Island. But elation turns to fear as she realises that, far from handing the island over, Seb Rapposelli is determined to get it back. And it’s up to her to stop him.
Read Chapter Two of "Against The Odds"
Alone on the beautiful Caribbean island, Rosa struggles to cope with a tropical night. And her panic only increases when Seb appears, insisting she has to leave, now, with him.
I've been dreaming of writing for Mills and Boon for many years so this competition was just what I needed to wake me up and make me get on with it! I'm beyond thrilled to have made it to the final 21 and very much hope you enjoy my second chapter. See Andie’s full profile

Hi again,
It’s nice to see a hero who’s a little rough around the edges but isn’t unlikeable in his arrogance. Chapter Two was more in-depth and entertaining though the opening did sort of confuse me a little though perhaps that might just be me, hard day’s night as they say.
Lovely story

Hi Andie
I liked your opening Chapter, it was great how you opened with the coin toss, and you gave the readers a wealth of information concerning the Characters helps understand them and get to know them. I personally didn't find the wording to be overly spectacular (sorry just a personal prospective creative wording is the thing I find most gripping in writing it really grabs and holds my attention) but the story itself was indeed great.
