This is fabulous! I haven't read many paranormals, but your summary intrigued me. Your writing is great, and I liked the structure of the chapter, and the way you mixed the present-day action and the backstory to explain why the heroine was so motivated to catch the hero. The tension was excellent, and the hero a real alpha. I hope we see the next chapter.
