Beguiling the Enemy

A massive thank you to each and every one of you who have left me such amazing feedback. Mavis and Sophia - I'm clinging on to those good luck wishes. Julia and Veronica - thank you for the lovely balance between compliments and constructive criticism. I had picked up on some of those 'blips' myself but not until the day after I had uploaded. I've learned my lesson from late night, blurry-eyed, last minute editing when something should have been left well alone!! Daisy - I too like as much of Kane and Caitlin as I can cram in but it was so important in ch 2 to start to weave the sub-plot in as it's going to be really important later on. As for the pivotal moment, if I am lucky enough to get to that point, at least I've left myself more than 200 words this year! Nadia - so glad you like the unpredictable characters. Laura - I was really nervous about the gun scene and whether it was 'Nocturne' enough to let the heroine get one over on the hero but I too loved it too much to change it so I'm glad you loved it as much as me. Alison - there's certainly a lot of 'forbidden' to come in this story but I'm not going to say too much. Jo - I'm so glad you're enjoying the new genre. Some of the terms and references are from established myths and some I've created. And yes, I am utterly thrilled to be in the top 21 and appreciating every moment. I hope I do get to show you the pivotal moment but it's all down to votes and there's a heck of a lot of competition!!! Maybe if not this time, you'll get to read the story at some point.
