  • Please, please keep writing this story. I love it. It is so heart-warming. I first got into reading M&B as a teenager and the best stories I read were the ones where I could imagine that I was the heroine. You capture that perfectly for me. x

  • Hi Ella

Thanks so much for your comments. I'm really pleased you enjoyed Chapter 2. Barbara Hannay has been amazing, really encouraging and supportive and it's been a huge honour to work with her.

I will definitely bear in mind your points about the beginning of Chapter 1. I can see it's a bit of a slow burn so will look at upping the pace when I come to editing.

Thanks too to everyone who's posted here. Every single comment is very much appreciated. It's been lovely popping over and reading your views, such a boost. Will definitely keep those comments in mind as I finish the book.

    Thanks again.
